How do I get into a small group? |
Pray first. Ask for God’s help to find the best group for you. We hope that someone already in a small group will invite you to attend their group with them. If so…visit their group! If the group works for you — you are set!
In addition, you can attend Small Group Connections, which are classes and events that offer the opportunity to experience small group study, dynamics, and relationships. Small Group Connections are advertised in the Hosanna! bulletin and on the website under Adult Ministries. You can also fill out the Help Me Find a Small Group Form which is available at the Information Station or online. After completing this form, you will promptly receive a phone call from a Ministry Coordinator. If you want or need additional help finding a group, contact the Group Development Office. We will be happy to serve you in finding a group. You will receive a call asking for details about what type of group you are looking for and when you are available. Your name and phone number will be passed on to group leaders who will call to invite you to their group. Visit the group that best fits your needs. |

Couples Groups |
Hosanna’s Couple’s Ministry is grounded in the belief that the needs of couples are met most effectively through the intimate relationships developed in the small group setting. A couple’s nurture group is a place where learning and relationships can take on a whole new dimension. God’s Word is studied and applied to real life experiences of faith and growth. Groups learn by discussion, interaction, questions, and personal experience. In a nurture group, couples experience caring relationships, and they receive prayer, encouragement, and support from friends as they face life’s challenges. Generations Groups |
Generations is dedicated to supporting, training, and equipping each generation to intentionally pass on faith in Jesus Christ and build strong families. Together as a household, join other families in a group that will encourage, support, and pray for one another while providing learning opportunities for adults and children. “So each generation can set its hope anew on God…” (Psalm 78:7a) Susan Quinnell, Generations Ministry Coordinator |

Mens Groups |
Men’s Ministry at Hosanna! is rooted in small groups and committed to life-change. God wants to work through men to impact families, communities, and the world. Look for opportunities on Thursday evenings to connect with other men for learning, then use that opportunity to build a small men’s group. Bryan Peffer, Men’s Ministry Coordinator |

Womens Groups |
Looking for a women’s small group? Hosanna! offers a wide variety of opportunities for you to participate in a Bible study with other women where you can grow, share, and learn. Each month we offer a small group sampler where you can try out a group for four weeks and hopefully continue meeting with the women you meet there. These will be posted each month as well or you can contact Beth. Beth McDonald, Women’s Ministry Coordinator |

Ministry Teams |
Ephesians 4 tells us that we all have a place and calling to serve the church. We want to help you find the team that best combines a ministry need with your spiritual gifts, passions, and life experiences. “To prepare God’s people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.” (Ephesians 4:12-13) Serve God through your spiritual gifts while growing in relationships with others. Call a ministry leader or contact Sheri to become involved. Discover the joy of serving Jesus! If you would like help in finding your ministry by identifying your spiritual gifts and abilities, attend the New Calling class. You can register for this class at the Information Station, online, or by contacting a member of the Group Development staff. If you prefer, the Spiritual Gifts Assessment is available online. A list of spiritual gifts can be found below. The Help Me Start Serving at Hosanna! Form is also available to fill out and submit online. Sheri Richards, Group Development and Support Coordinator |
